To Whom It May Concern:
I used Safeway Van Lines to move me from Maryland to Ohio. I went from a normal size house to a retirement community, but I had a nice size cottage, so there was much to move. Most movers I called would not give me a definite date for both loading and unloading, but it was very important to me that they come to load one day, we travel the next day, and they unload the following day. Safeway Van Lines was the only one who gave it some thought, and then called me to say they would do it my way!! That was extremely important to me, and it was an indication that they did try to make their customers happy.

The packing crew came on time, spent the entire day packing, and we were to meet in Ohio 2 days later. Altho the crew could use a computer to plot their route from MD to Ohio, my retirement community was so new that my street address would not be in the computer. I gave the man in charge the only phone no. I had at the retirement community. When my son and I arrived in Ohio, we were told the head man of Safeway had called to find out the exact spot they were to deliver my furniture, and to pinpoint the time a little closer. I was very impressed with that!

The van arrived when it was supposed to, the crew unloaded all of the furniture and boxes in the midst of workmen coming and going everywhere, but they got the furniture put together properly and the boxes stored neatly in one section of the living room. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs to hire a moving company. They were professional, reliable, and careful. Moving is not for the faint-hearted, but they made a terrible chore as tolerable as could be expected of any company.

On Friday, April 13, 2007 your company moved my husband and I from a 3rd story condo to a townhome in Odenton, Maryland.  We have never hired movers before and I was very apprehensive due to horror stories I have heard from friends and relatives.  I confirmed my move with Lee and he told me his guys would take care of everything.  Thankfully that was true!  The men moving us were courteous, efficient  and very hard working.  We were amazed by them.  We were also worried that the condo we were moving out of would sustain some wall damage but your movers did not leave one mark on the walls.  I just wanted to let you know that they should be comended for representing your company so well.  I believe Antonio was the foreman and I hope you will send them extra thanks on our behalf.
